Open Trip Lombok to Komodo 4D3N

Join fellow adventurers on a shared 4-day, 3-night sailing cruise from North Lombok to Komodo National Park — Indonesia’s most iconic ocean route, all-inclusive and budget-friendly.

In Short

Our open trip is a shared cruise that links solo travellers, couples and small groups on one boat to split the cost of the same route private charters sail. Departing weekly from Kayangan Harbor in North Lombok, you cross roughly 370 km of the Flores Sea over four days, guided by licensed captains with 10+ years at sea.

What an Open Trip Means
01 Chapter

What an Open Trip Means

An open trip groups individual travellers onto one shared boat so everyone enjoys the full Lombok–Komodo route at a fraction of charter cost. You still sail the same islands, snorkel the same reefs and trek the same dragon trails — you simply share the deck with like-minded explorers.

Standard boats carry 8–15 guests plus a 4–5 person crew, while premium boats cap at 10 guests for a roomier experience. Solo travellers are very welcome and make up around 40% of our open-trip guests, with gender-matched cabin assignments unless requested otherwise.

Departure & Pickup
02 Chapter

Departure & Pickup

Cruises depart from Kayangan Harbor (Pelabuhan Kayangan) in North Lombok — roughly 2.5 hours from the airport and 1.5 hours from Senggigi. Complimentary pickup is available from the Senggigi, Mataram and Bangsal areas.

The route can also be sailed in reverse, departing Labuan Bajo back to Lombok on alternating weeks with the same island sequence.

Marine Life & Highlights
03 Chapter

Marine Life & Highlights

The voyage strings together the region’s signature stops: Kenawa and Moyo islands, Satonda’s volcanic crater lake, the Padar Island sunrise hike, ranger-guided Komodo dragon trekking, Pink Beach and Manta Ray Point, where visibility often exceeds 20 metres.

Between March and September you may also swim alongside gentle 8-metre whale sharks in Saleh Bay — one of the rare places on earth where sightings are reliable.

Safety & Weather
04 Chapter

Safety & Weather

Safety is the first priority on every sailing. If the captain judges sea conditions unsafe, the itinerary may shift to sheltered alternatives or be delayed. In the rare event of severe weather, we offer refunds or rescheduling.

Every boat carries safety equipment and runs a full briefing before departure, with experienced crews handling navigation and provisions throughout.
